The effectiveness of Adding Different Sucrose in Tris-Egg Yolk Diluent on the Sperm Fertility of Sexing Swamp Buffalo (Bubalus bubalis)

Spermatozoa sexing requires a diluent that can protect and provide an optimal environment to maintain the quality of spermatozoa. This study targets determine effectiveness adding sucrose tris-egg yolk on sperm swamp buffaloes produced by with egg albumin method. Semen was collected once week for 12 consecutive weeks artificial vagina from three male at Indonesian Center Animal Research Development (ICARD) in April - June 2021. separated sedimentation using 10% 30% albumins. divided into four treatments, namely 20% (TEY), TEY+0% sucrose, TEY+0.2% TEY+0.3% TEY+0.4% sucrose. Parameters measured included: motility, viability, intact plasm membrane, acrosome cap buffalo sperm. The results showed motility X sperm: 43.75-47.5%, Y 40-45%, viability 78.25-79.75% 77.25-79.75%, membrane 70.5-71.5% 70.5-71%, viable acrosome-intact 79-80% 78.75-79.5%. addition up 0.4% proven integrity cell spermatozoa water sexed albumin.
